You may be familiar with Deborah Fisher as the talented artist behind Fish Museum + Circus who creates fun, whimsical, one-of-a-kind ceramic art that sells out almost instantly wherever it’s offered. Now Deborah is bringing some of that whimsy to her brand-new fabric line called Sew Good–and Windham was kind enough to send a bundle over so I could play!

Due to a few technical difficulties, the fat quarter-friendly pattern isn’t quite ready to release. But you can sign up for my newsletter and be the first to hear when it is–plus get an exclusive subscriber discount.

Use the black lines on the Sew Good Boundless Binding fabric (in the background of the photo of the selvage) to fussy-cut your binding. You can show either the dots or the scallops around the edges of your quilt. How cool is that?

As you can see, I went with the scallops.

Between the bright and cheerful colors and the fabulous sewing motifs, Sew Good will get your mind racing with possibilities! Imagine zippered bags, totes, sewing machine covers, mug rugs…the options are endless. I mocked up a couple of my patterns, Wunderbar and Star-Crossed Plaid, to see how they would look. What do you think?

Where to Buy Sew Good Fabric

The Sew Good line should be in shops by the end of February. You can ask for it at your local quilt store, or pre-order from Fish Museum + Circus directly or from My Favorite Quilt Store.
