choosing fabrics
The pattern is simpler than it looks and relies on your fabric choices to make it spectacular! Here are a few tips based on the observations of the intrepid testing team:
- Choose non-directional prints.
- Small prints, blenders, or solids work best.
- Use a color wheel to coordinate the three main colors, and keep the background neutral.
- Check out the tutorial to learn more about choosing fabrics to create an illusion of transparency.
- Take advantage of the coloring page (available below, and included in the pdf pattern) to audition your chosen colors before taking a stitch.
