Loopy Hearts is one of my favorite doodles turned into a quilt block! It takes a little longer than doodling on paper, but not much. A little raw-edge appliqué and voilà, a delightful little celebration of love. You can even iron the appliqué onto a backing to use for a label–just put it diagonally in a corner so the ends will be covered by binding. Perfect for a wedding quilt (or any quilt)!
This block is part of Quilt Block Mania. A group of designers agreed to create quilt block patterns based on one theme. We hope to introduce you to a wide variety of designers and techniques while you have fun creating your own quilt.
