Never one to turn down a challenge, I’m participating in Cheryl Sleboda’s 31 Day Blog Writing Challenge and following a prompt each day to post a little something. (I put a link to her post down at the bottom–that’s where you can find all of the participants. Heck, you can join in, too, you can post on social media if you don’t have a blog.)
Day 7: Dream Project
Today’s prompt of “dream project” really got me thinking. I don’t really have a specific quilt pattern I want to make, but I do have a couple of dreams that I can stitch together just for today.
- A bed quilt that my husband won’t ruin with the grunge he brings home from work. (It’s a farm. There’s dirt. I get it. But it’s my dream.)
- An extended trip to Hawaii.
I did make a mini inspired by Hawaiian quilts once, but I would love to be immersed in the process to get a better handle on it.
So I’m going to have to go here and here, and then report back to you with something like this cover quilt:
Only it will match my room perfectly and repel dirt.
