This is the final month of stitching the Brightly Sampler quilt from Sherri and Chelsi’s book, Family Favorites.
Missed the quilt-along? You can still make this quilt. You’ll need a copy of the book and the fabrics of your choice. Read more about the fabric requirements at the Fat Quarter Shop’s blog, the Jolly Jabber. You can order a fabric kit, backing, and a foundation paper set, or work from your own fabric pantry.
I stitched mine using the Ruby Star Society collection Endpaper by Jen Hewett, supplemented by other complementary Ruby Star fabrics.
Optional first step: Lay out your blocks on the floor for the Chief Feline Officer’s approval.
Add sashing and stitch it all together before putting on the borders.
Quilt, bind, and enjoy! I used my walking foot and quilted it simply with some straight lines, then washed the finished quilt to get that cozy crinkle going on. It’s sure to become a family favorite!
