One of my favorite ways to go exploring is to go out on the water. A Crossed Canoes block is framed with traditionally pieced half-square triangles as an homage to the classic Lady of the Lakes block–thus, Canoe Lady! The Canoe Lady pattern is terrific for practicing basic foundation paper piecing skills, but you can use an Accuquilt die to cut the shapes instead.
